Method #1: Registration Via Code:
Step #1: Open Dialer:
First of all, open your mobile dialer and dial the code that is allotted for registration for PTA. Dial *8484# from your mobile phone. Make sure the sim you will use for your transferable registration will be on the same ID card number you will use for registration.
Step #2: Follow the Instructions:
As you dial the code, the menu with different options will be open. Reply with 1 for mobile registration and choose your status with 1 and 2 for local and foreigner (overseas) registration, respectively.
Step #3: Enter Identity:
The next step is to provide your ID card or passport number in case you are overseas Pakistani. Choose the sim slot, e.g. sim one or two.
Step #3: Enter IMEI:
IMEI numbers are the unique device numbers uniquely allotted to every mobile phone. In a smartphone, the number will be in the “About Phone” section, and on other mobiles, it will be there on your mobile backside below the battery. Choose IMEI type for single, double, etc.
Step #4: Confirm Details:
After entering the complete details of your phone and identity, confirm your details with a reply with 1 to complete the process. After that, you will receive a message from 8484 for further processing. If your details are wrong, you must follow the above operation again.

Step #1: Browse DIRBS:
Open your browser on your device and browse https://dirbs.pta.gov.pk, the official PTA page for completing the online registration process. This site is helpful for overseas citizens.

For DIRBS, you need to log in to your account. If you don’t have your report, create your account by providing details to easily complete your phone registration.
Step #3: Choose an option:
As you login to your account on DIRBS, choose the option with the tab “Individual COC.” This is the first step for applying for registration of your phone. As you click on apply for COC, provide your IMEI and contact number on the next step.
